The preproduction is the most important and inspiring part of filmmaking. E.g. research. It is like coming to a place for the first time in your life - impression feels heavy and pushy - no bad filter between you and the motive.

Later when you see the shoots again on the screen - it is time to think, talk and think over. Preproduction has a long incubation period!
